This position is responsible for the end to end planning and execution of the US Firms' regional events including Leadership visits and Client visits with a focus on:

·         Developing and executing a services model for clients and leadership visits

·         Driving service delivery for all client and leadership visits to ensure that such visits are successful and seamless in delivery and event management

Responsibilities

Event Planning and Execution:

·         Serve as an SME of US firms leadership and clients visitis

·         Serve as single point of contact for both the sponsor and for vedor associated with the event

·         Deliver exceptional client service with a consultative, solutions-oriented approach

·         Ability to gather data to determine event requirements. Development and maintenance of forecast

·         Enforce all meeting protocols and guidelines (cost saving measures, risk policies, contract approvals)

·         Effectively communicate to sponsor's on the requirements to support visits

·         Drive the process for the sponsor; including the final review and approval on various aspects of visits

·         Develop, create and distribute meeting specifications. Review and approve detailed specifications

·         Coordinate with relevant teams internally like ITS, DCS, Travel, SPS, etc. to ensure delivery is of the highest quality and appropriately priced, within parameters established by the Leaders of the relevant function

·         Manage third party contracts whenever required (production, event décor, entertainment, transportation, team-building, IT, special supplies/materials, temp assistance, security etc.)

·         On-site support to ensure adherence to standards, specifications, performance, and successful execution

·         Post meeting reporting and reconciliation including auditing and processing of invoices

Collaboration and Leadership:

·         Frequent interaction with restaurants/hotels and industry sales and operation professionals, supporting Deloitte's partnerships in a professional manner

·         Collaborate with other Service Lines, SPS, Talent, Marketing and Local Office Operations/Hoteling

Measurement of Performance

·         Manager and Peer Reviews

·         Event Sponsor feedback

·         Accuracy and timeliness of data in meetings management systems

·         Bachelor's degree in hospitality, hotel management, business, or related field required

·         Specialized knowledge in contracting, organizing and managing all logistical aspects of events

·         5+ years direct experience in corporate environment

·         Relationship Management: Ability to build relationships and trust quickly with all the stakeholders

·         Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a consultative style

·         Project management: ability to understand scope, timelines & budgets, and deliver on time and budget

·         Ability to work in teams and individually, on multiple projects simultaneously

·         Result Oriented: Ability to excel while working independently and virtually

·         Excellent customer service with specific attention to service promises to all the stakeholders

·         Local event market expertise and knowledge with existing network of venues and vendors

·         Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook

·         Ability to travel regionally and work extended hours as required by event

·         Ability to handle high volume workload and fast pace; manage stress
