Job Description

Job Description –

• Software Developer in storage domain.
• Responsible for writing and coding from specific requirements
• To create a storage virtual appliance for existing virtualization solutions

Duties and Responsibilities :-

• Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents.
• Perform coding to written technical specifications.
• Investigate, analyze and fix reported defects.
• Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
• Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
• Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Adding features to the existing product.

 
Skills/Requirements

Skills / Attributes Required :-

• Demonstrable Software Product Development experience
• Knowledge of kernel and user space architecture and design
• Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
• Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.
• Flexible attitude, ability to perform under pressure.
• A commitment to quality and a thorough approach to the work.
• Ability to work well within a team

Eligibility Criteria:-

• Need to clear the technical programming tests.
• Prior knowledge of kernel programming would be an added advantage.
• File system and storage knowledge would be an added advantage.
• Huge advantage if you have worked on driver development with VMware or Xen Hypervisor / Infrastructure.
• Those who cleared programming tests with STEC India, but did not clear the technical interview.
• Good development expertise in c, c++ user space can also apply.
