Responsibilities :-
As a member of the CAD team, you will provide outline and detailed design drawings for a range of civil and structural elements associated with water and wastewater related projects.
Produce detailed project designs and drawings according to relevant UK Water Industry Standards & Codes.
Producing CAD drawings to a high standard and coordinate with other CAD technicians in the production of drawings
Responding to client directions in a receptive and customer focused manner maintaining technical quality standards
Have an aptitude to multi task and to be self starting in new business environments and service areas.
Requirements
Diploma in Civil Engineering and a minimum of 4 years Auto Cad, Micro station and detailing experience involving work associated with Water projects based in UK Water industry.
- Sufficient and appropriate experience of working within a technical environment (Civil and Water projects)
- Able to independently produce engineering drawings to a high standard.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications and produce reinforced concrete details and schedules.
- Ability to produce appropriate calculations, when necessary, while producing the working drawings and details.
- Working knowledge of British Standards is desirable.
- Computer literacy e.g. Word, Excel and Outlook

- Demonstrable track record of technical achievement and client satisfaction within the water industry.
- Willingness to travel to the UK for short term assignment and training.
- Ability to adapt to different cultures and working environments.
- Aspiration to grow with responsibility and to manage a growing team of skilled engineers
- Ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues
- Experience of using written and spoken English within a business environment.
