About the Role and Responsibilities

Senior Software Development Engineer

Position Location:Bangalore,Karnataka

Responsibilities

- Perform tasks that include web development and maintenance

- Gather requirements, development, and execution of projects

- You will be a member of a team that leads development and maintenance of complex software applications, developing code in accordance with product functional requirements.

- Provides input on technical direction for product research, design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting

- Owns the design of one or more major product components

- Acts as a key technical resource to members outside of the team on technical issues relating to product

- Writes clean maintainable code independently and can write code to solve large scale complex problems

- Accurately estimate time and resources required to design, develop and test a project

Qualifications

- 6+ years Java development experience

- Detail focus and history of developing highly efficient, high availability code

- Experience with multi-threading and synchronization in Java environment

- Knowledge HTTP protocol and HTML/JavaScript

Preferred:

- Agile methodologies

- Database and SQL

- Web browser engine and parsers

- Experience with SaaS products and associated development models

- Familiarity with web application security a plus
