Profile of the position:
Business development Manager should understand the products/ solutions thoroughly. He or she should basically identify, qualify and secure business opportunities by cultivating and maintaining mutually beneficial business relationships with current and potential clients.
Duties and Responsibilities :-
- Identification of sources of information (secondary and primary sources)
- Extraction of information/content extraction through the sources of information.
- Lead Generation.
- New business development / Lead conversion
- He or she should penetrate in named Accounts with the objective of developing the business.
- To qualify no. of opportunities
- Increased product / solution penetration within accounts; identification of additional opportunities in the account, understanding of customer's IT spends, effective execution of the account plan
- Ability to differentiate our solution/ offerings vs. competition; control on the account; level of push to the OEMs for better transfer pricing.
- He should be able to satisfy customer.
- Develop long-term relations with customers and vendors.
- Engage in creating sales road-map with the senior management.
- Develop practice-driven sales strategy.
- Manage, coordinate, liaise with cross functional team members for large deals and make joint calls, if required, for critical customer meetings.
- Identify new business opportunities in existing accounts.
- Envisage new business opportunities and initiatives.
- Aligning new offerings to customer requirements.
- Constantly review the client-facing processes and offer suggestions.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills are essential
- highly polished and should articulate, maintain a pleasant disposition and are able to establish and expand professional relationships
- Good knowledge about local market
- Learning orientation
- Persuasiveness
Desirable Experience & Skills :-
Should have 3-7 years of experience in IT sales domain
Desirable Qualification : BE with Master/PG management.
Location : Mumbai/Pune/New Delhi/Hyderabad & Bangalore
