UI Engineer
Job Description:
UI technical design and development of E-commerce site and web-based internet applications using XHTML, CSS, Ajax, JQuery, JavaScript and Photoshop.
Hands on expertise in XHTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript.
Development using object oriented and component oriented techniques.
Ensure prompt and quality delivery of code and design artifacts
Solid visual design skills and a thorough understanding of graphic design/layout principles for print and web.
Quick ability to convert wireframes into HTML front-end necessary.
Create clean mark-up that is scalable, accessible and search engine friendly with web standard
Experience in UI development and integration for web apps / mobile apps / web2.0
Profile:
3-7 years of extensive experience with UI development including XHTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, AJAX and Photoshop.
Strong analytical skills with good problem-solving abilities.
Strong user experience instincts.
Demonstrated skills overcoming browser quirks and inconsistencies.
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 an added advantage
Working knowledge of SQL and databases (Oracle/MySql) an added advantage
Good understanding of SEO tips, tricks and techniques a major plus.
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills and ability to work in a team environment
