Job Description

Position / Job Title : District Coordinator - Broadband Kiosk Project ( BBK). Candidate will be responsible for NEW FRANCHISE ACQUISITION.

Department E-Governance

Location :Andhra Pradesh(Guntur,Ananthapur,khammam,east godavari,west godavari,srikakulam,chittor,nellore,nalgonda,krishna,mahboob nagar)

Qualification: Graduate in any stream (post graduate in marketing would be preferred),

Experience: Minimum 2+ years work experience as marketing /business development executive, preferably from the education/retail. Experience in e-Seva, me-seva , CSC will be an advantage.

Skills and Attributes: 

Candidate must possesses/exhibit the following skill sets: -

 Interpersonal skills, public speaking, presentation and listening skills
 Good communication skills and fluency in local language/dialect
 Understanding of potential market segment / potential franchisee partners
 Marketing insight of educational / training products
 Understanding of the beneficiaries under Government and Non Government programmes
 Network building capabilities
 Willing to travel extensively within short notice
 Team management
 Ability to identify the appropriate media/forum for the potential area
 Must possess IT/Computer skills


Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities: -

Candidate will be responsible for reaching out to potential franchisee partner, disseminating information on about the BBK project and initiating dialogue to nurture and grow relationships to meet defined targets in terms of franchisee acquisition. In addition he will be responsible for coordination with BSNL.

Candidate would be responsible for following activities: -

 Business Development - Responsible for meeting Business targets out of BBK services (Retail, Skills and Education etc.)
 Develop and design suitable action plans to maximize franchisee acquisition
 Collecting Physical application with registration fees
 Verifying & accepting applications
 Short-listing & Counseling
 Interview, Physical & Due Diligence
 Agreement Signing
 Manage the Kiosk centre set up
 Handover Banner, Bank A/c Details & adding IETS transaction A/c,
 Support in Premises preparation
 Ensure registration of infrastructure in portal
 Assist the franchisee partner procuring IT Infrastructure
 Grievance handling
 Generate leads through promotional activities like Presentations & Seminars, identifying prospective franchisees through tele calling and reference follow-ups
 Training to BBK franchisee on Services , e Wallet management, Business Development
 Coordinate with BSNL for Broadband connection, Field Verification & Go Live Certification, Services Enablement
 Reporting and Coordination with BSNL, District Administration
 Facilitate tie ups
 Maintain and submit reports in prescribed formats as per deadlines
 Managing overall BBK Cluster operations (including Admin, MIS and Services)
 Managing Billing and Compliance
