Responsibilities:
Enterprise Quality Solutions is the IT Process/ Quality Consulting practice at Infosys and is part of the Infosys Quality Department. It provides consulting services to clients in the areas of Software Process Improvement and overall IT Process Optimization, with the objective of delivering quantifiable business benefits in terms of cost, quality, productivity and time-to-market.
It leverages internal Infosys best practices as well as process models such as CMMI / ITIL / CoBIT; Development Methodologies such as Agile / RUP and Improvement Methodologies such as Six Sigma / Lean.
Requirements:
The nature of work requires excellent analytical, communication, presentation, client interfacing and organization change management skills, and sound knowledge and practical experience in software engineering and project management methodologies. The work also requires extensive international travel.
Academic Background
Bachelor of Engineering
Masters degree in Software Quality Management / IT Systems Management / Business Administration would be an added advantage
Experience
Candidates with 4 to 8 years of IT experience in
Software Development / Project & Program Management / ERP ImplementationAND / OR
Software Quality Assurance
Onsite / Consulting experience would be an added advantage
Skill set:
Agile
Experience in Agile software development techniques
Sound knowledge of one or more of Agile development models such as Scrum, DSDM and XP
Candidate should have played the role of Scrum Master / Iteration Manager or equivalent
Scrum Master certification will be an added advantage
Estimation
Hands-on experience in industry standard estimation techniques including Function Point and Use Case point estimation
Hands-on experience in counting Function Points and conducting Function Point training
Certification in Function Point Analysis will be an added advantage
Release & Configuration Management
Hands-on experience in Release & Configuration Management in large project / product development environment
Knowledge of standard industry tools such as CVS / Clear Case / VSS / Subversion
Establish Configuration & Release Management strategy at enterprise level as well at program level
Six Sigma and Lean
Candidate should have executed improvement projects using 6 Sigma and/or Lean Techniques in IT environment
Hands-on experience with Value Stream Mapping and other Lean tools
Six Sigma Black Belts preferred
Test Process
Knowledge in Test Process improvement / Test Automation
Hands-on testing experience
Candidate should have managed the testing process of large projects
Experience in setting up a Testing Centre of Excellence will be an added advantage
Qualification:
Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Business Administration/ Master of Computer Applications
Experience required: Minimum 48 months
